Mosaic Law and Now Messiah’s Law

So many people say they read their Bible (be it Hebrew only or Hebrew plus the Greek text) and they might think the Law given to Moses by the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is intended to remain in full application today. But after Moses, something happened to modify that application—a new look by way of a new covenant and the vital Promise offered by Messiah Himself! This is not to say the Mosaic Law is to be regarded without respect—we learn much from a reading of the books of Moses. But when the Jewish Messiah appeared, He stated something that makes for a shift and an emphasis direct from Adonai through the words of Messiah!

If you are a Jewish person, you might want to hear about how the Gentiles today need to approach the Bible’s teachings on the Law. This also puts a new light on an updated Jewish approach. But this also takes respecting the Messiah Yeshua and if you are not certain who the Messiah really is the please visit this Harmony page at WindowView! The links below lead to YouTube videos of an excellent Jewish (Messianic) teacher who addresses the content of the book of Galatians.

If you are a Gentile and a churchgoer, maybe you need to hear Mottel Baleston’s teaching on Galatians because this will inform you how you are to regard the Mosaic Law and what Messiah says about Gentiles not being under the Law. Most importantly, what are we ALL (Jew and Gentile together) to do with respect to what Yeshua has stated and is recorded in the Greek books (The New Covenant).

The six sessions with detailed teachings (each session is in two parts) are all captured on YouTube videos and the links are listed below.

Also, links to a couple books that are helpful in addressing the Law (then and now) are presented below.

A shorter but very helpful book is written by Michael J. Vlach. This book examines a specific text from the New Covenant and addresses The New Covenant Lawgiver!

Another longer and bit broader look at Scripture is written by John B. Metzger, entitled THE LAW Then And Now: What About Grace?

We are apparently entering a final era of time in human history when taking a look at a vital choice we all have (an exceptional opportunity) to make is available only while alive! Day of Atonement – Identifying Messiah in Yom Kippur

Each year the calendar presents us with the Jewish Biblical High Holy Days. What many Gentiles do not observe is a day of atonement called Yom Kippur. But even more interesting is that many persons in the Jewish community who do place high importance on Yom Kippur, they miss knowing the true identity of the Jewish Messiah. And for Gentiles who think they know who the Messiah is … they too might find interesting the audio presentation that is linked to this blog post!

Here is the link to the web page with the audio to listed to regarding the identity of the Messiah in relation to a High Holy Day! (opens in new browser tab)

The Jewish Messiah Has A Name

Messiah is a very specific biblical term. If you read the Hebrew Scriptures, there are many places in the Tanach that point to the Messiah. The identification has been long lost on Israel, but as many of you may know, the identity will become way more apparent to the Jewish people when the time is correct–as it is stated, the ‘veil will be lifted’ and Israel will know, accept, or reject, and then other events will soon follow. Those events are written about in the books of Daniel and what John wrote in the writings that appear in the last book of the Greek text, the Brit Chadeshah (New Covenant)

There is an author, Dr. Fruchtenbaum, who has written a fabulous book about the Footsteps of the Messiah. That volume explains the history, process that prophesy takes humanity through, and focuses on the Jewish Messiah. While WindowView also deals with Science and Change, the Harmony area supports many pages that relate to the Messiah himself.

The book listed here may be a great eye opener for those Jewish and even Gentile persons who have not made the connections between what Messiah in the past accomplished and what Scripture and world events today portend for the future, perhaps very near future.

Messiah has a name that means ‘salvation,’ and that is ‘Yeshua.’ Rabbis have denied this for centuries, but this distraction is nothing but that veil over the eyes of Israel. the Bible’s entire focus centers on events in Israel. Many Gentile preachers think the ‘church’ replaces Israel, but that is a misnomer that can be corrected by reading sources that include the intricate interweaving of the biblical data in the Hebrew and Greek texts.

See below links for the purchase or download of this book:

You can order a hardcopy of this book at Amazon with this link.

But some time ago permission was granted to allow free distribution as an electronic file and the link for that edition of this book is HERE (click to download the PDF document, just click on the book cover on the web page at WindowView).

Jewish persons who have explored the Tanach and have read passages such as in Isaiah 53, Proverbs 30: 4, the timeline that states when Messiah would come as presented in the book of Daniel, and elsewhere in Isaiah, Psalms, Malachi, Zechariah, and even a reference in Genesis, plus many other locations … all point to Yeshua.

Just thought ou might be interested …

Isaiah 53 As A New Song

In a previous post you were able to connect to a WindowView.org web page that provides access to understanding the importance of the verses in Isaiah 53. The prophet is essentially letting all Israel know who the Messiah is … His identity is unmistakable and the prophet’s words were written hundreds of years before Yeshua appeared to Israel. As then and as is now, these words are a key that unlocks so much of what else Scripture. has to tell us.

Today we received an email from Joshua Aaron that included a link to his friend’s new song … the song is based on Isaiah 53, sung by Aaron Shust and accompanied by Shai Sol.

The Prophet Identifies Messiah

Every year Israel celebrates Passover. Each year during the Pesach seder there is a moment when the matzah is broken and the Cup of Redemption is lifted to drink wine. This breaking of bread and drinking of the cup was a new adjustment to the Pesach tradition and seems to correspond with who the Jewish Messiah is. So, who is that?

Of whom does the prophet Isaiah speak?

To read about the prophet Isaiah’s exact words that align closely with the true identity of the Jewish Messiah, we recommend a visit to windowview.org/wanted/j.html. See the web page and read the WANTED poster and get the REWARD!

In a world of increasing chaos and confusion, peace is to be found in Messiah–for Jew and Gentile alike, this one identity rises in importance above all else.
