Statement of Faith
There may be places where a faith is professed based on biblical truth, and that certainly is true here.
But a look at scientific information ... a look at life forms and the design of unique organisms and the structures that make each cell a complex entity, as well as the wonders of nature, the universe at large, we can also recognize the handy work of the Creator ... this too is foundational to faith.
One tool to see this dual perspective on faith comes from scientific investigation, asking questions, and discerning what holds up as being truthful. This applies ... but, it's not science alone for faith has its other foundational perspective.
And if you look around you'll find groups that profess to be Jew and Gentile together who share faith based on Yeshua as the Messiah of Israel. Yeshua is one spoken of in the Hebrew Bible (in prophesy, Psalms, Proverbs, and elsewhere) as well as the Greek text of the first century ... He is the same as Jesus of Nazareth.
For such Jewish and Gentile believers there is no separation between covenants and the biblical timeline is as contiguous as that for history or science. The Window View does not fold these themes together to be unique, but instead to recognize that all of what is in this particular view is indeed truth. In fact, a plain truth that for many has been glossed over or missed.
Today, the Jewish believers in Yeshua recognize that a veil has dropped and that now they plainly see what should have been so obvious for as long as the Scriptures have been preserved and passed generation to generation.
From an account given by Matthew (16:1-4) we see an example of learned men, the Jewish scholars of the day, asking for proof of the Messiah's authority and knowledge:
Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven.
He answered and said to them, "When it is evening you say, `It will be fair weather, for the sky is red';
"and in the morning, `It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.' Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.
"A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah." And He left them and departed. The Messiah ends up by stating, in advance, that the Pharisees and Sadducees would see Him, Yeshua, repeat a sign through his burial and resurrection that parallels the three days when Jonah was in the whale's belly. That's the sign they had and we would be given.
But today, in our own knowledge of modern times, we are seeing signs of these times. On the topic of life's origins we engage in debate because those who are centered on material naturalism will not accept that there is an Intelligent Designer ... they refuse God because of their own 'wisdom.'
Global change is a sign of human corporate sin, that rapes the earth and counters all types of stewardship. The earth is wasting away during humanity's love affair with material being.
The Bible's time line tells us of troubles and judgments ahead ... and the conflict in the Middle East today only seems to head us in that direction ... exactly in the theater of the biblical events as foretold in Scriptures that every human on earth now has access to.
Hardened minds and hard hearts will refuse to see, hear, or listen. We've simply given you the basics and enough evidence for what is in this window.
The window is not a made up view ... it's a tool you can employ to see and if you want, you can look beyond what we've presented in this frame. In the end, if your mind is free to explore and your heart is open, we believe you will come to understand that God indeed exists and wants to have a personal relationship with you ... with everyone ... that's the purpose to our being here.
To the Jewish visitor who wonders if we are saying a conversion is required to place one's trust in Jesus. Please remember, Jewish believers who find the Jewish Messiah find what is already theirs by birth right. The only true change here is taking in what already belongs to the Jew.
To the Gentile there is the question of adopting and trusting a Messiah that is also promised to Jews and Gentiles through the new covenantsomething promised by the prophet Jeremiah (31:31-34). In this regard history spins a contrary tale. Gentiles, not Jews, are faced with a change, conversion, and adoption that requires placing trust in the Jewish Messiah.
In any case, all who come to Messiah find their way to a relationship with the Lord God and Creator (John 14:6). For these very reasons, this web site takes special care in presenting themes that are inclusive of Jew and Gentile alike.
Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?"
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
"If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him." (John 14: 5-7)The ultimate statement of faith comes down to taking all perspectives we can see in life and building a paradigm that embraces what is true. If material and spiritual information speak to the truth of our existence ... and the Scriptures tell us of a God of Israel who wants a relationship with us, then who are we to argue?
Further, if that relationship leads to living in an eternal state of being, a blessing for embracing the relationship with the One who made us in the first place, then why argue against this reality! It takes faith built on reason and sound information. And that takes away all opposing arguments.
Today, people live as if they are in control of their destiny. Are they?
All die to this flesh-based existence.
The Creator of space and time reveals that there are more dimensions than the physical space we now experience. A spiritual dimension lives within us and life now is an opportunity to explore the reality of the promise extended to us by God. Accept His grace and accept a relationship with Him.
God's promise, recorded in Scripture, is for eternal relationship and thus eternal life. Every breath you have is one more opportunity to validate this ... to see it's true ... and to make a decision to turn toward Him.
We hope that you too will embrace the promise and grace given by the Holy One of Israel. Certainly the hours of effort to make this Internet site are our testimonial to you.
If you find agreement in what is stated above, but have no formal relationship with God, we encourage you to 'Step Up To Life.' While it may be difficult to say there is absolute proof of God's existence, we think the information provided in the window comes as close as anyone can get to information beyond any doubt. WindowView is is simply designed for your consideration. You look, you discern, and then only you can decide.
