Born in Bethlehem Ephrathah
Remarkable in many ways, Bethlehem is the place lambs were raised for the purpose of Temple sacrifice... the ''Lamb of God'' is one way Messiah is described... and He too was born in Bethlehem as recorded in Micah 5:2 (NKJV):
''But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting.''
