Messiah is the Seed of the Woman
The very first prophecy concerning Messiah appears in the very first book of the Hebrew Bible... Genesis 3:15:
''And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel."
This verse indicates an adversarial relationship between the Messiah of Israel and the enemy. While the enemy may inflict a bruise that is essentially not fatal, Messiah eventually puts an end to the enemy (Ha Satan is defeated in the end) by a bruise — fatal wound — to the head.
