Sign of the Christian Church Apostasy

At first blush one might mistake this post as a criticism of Islam. Hardly. The Book of Revelation starts with a series of letters to the churches. Each letter characterizes a type of church. Further the series of letters are taken to characterize the church ages over periods of time from the First Century to the last and present church age. The last church age is labeled the Apostate Church Age.

To practicing Christians nothing can be more a sign of the apostate condition than any kind of allowance or practice the goes against biblical teaching. Same sex marriage goes against Scripture (e.g. Leviticus 20:13) and hosting worship by persons who do not regard Yeshua (i.e. Jesus) as Messiah and thus Devine being, is clearly counter to Bible principles. Yet, the National Cathedral in Washington allows both. Our point is simple, this is merely a sign that we are indeed in an apostate era.

The following image from the Watch.org web page on November 15 shows both the Muslim worshippers, but the accompanying text makes points reflected here. As for the Muslim faithful, it might be worth note they have prostrate the, selves in the House of the Lord a place built (we trust) by the US to honor the God of Israel and the Messiah who died and was resurrected that we may live eternally with the God of Israel. To think otherwise is apostasy in its own right. We hope they might investigate the significance of this point.

Perhaps the sad conclusion is that many people rationalize such things are permissible in the eyes of God. If it were so the Bible would not include the ‘teachings,’ also known as Torah. Many believe the Torah is obsolete, but for those who search Scripture there is no such justification. We live in an age of human compromises and rationalizations in the name of political correctness. A holy and righteous God has left us instruction that says otherwise. Discerning what His will is becomes the cutting edge of what applies and how we are to approach the days beyond this age.

Muslims Embrace Jesus?

To get a reaction to the photo below, we draw your attention to the originating link to Freedom Outpost’s recent post.

Beyond the report at Freedom Outpost and the opinions expressed there … Our question is … if Jesus is who He says He is, then wouldn’t a Muslim need to know how this billboard goes contrary to what they were taught?

Ironically, Muslims decry foul when any negative comments are made about their beliefs, but what about the reality to this claim they make?  So, we are not being negative, instead we want to know if Muslims realize the true implications of how this sign turns the question back on them … and why ask a Muslim when we can ask those who know Jesus firsthand?  Worth a thought! You could ask both and compare notes! Worth getting the full picture!  If so, this sign is an ironic sign of the times!

And yes, Yeshua (Jesus) is alive.  And where He is now has everything to do with Who he is beyond the answer one might get from following their weblink.  Frankly, we thank those who posted the billboard, because at the end of the day, finding out Who Jesus IS, is very important and that distinguishes fact and fiction.  The billboard asks a fundamental question … Who is He?  But more important, why do they find it so important to give their answer?

We who sit at the window and look at all perspectives already know why they are making their statement … Do you?
