We need to pray and repent - individually and corporately (and repent of what would be a whole list, I think!). Also, the fact that the strategies of the enemy are not really spoken of much in the congregation lends to "open doors" where falsities and just sin in general can enter in. Also, confession to one another and subsequent prayer would also be "helpful"(!). There are a good deal of things we are not doing within local congregations, and so people are hungry for something which often ends up not being of the Spirit. If we were of one mind/Spirit as it speaks of in 1 Corinthians 12, so much of what is occurring these days, including the teachings of "false prophets," would not be so prevelant. I may be wrong, but the scripture of us being "scattered sheep" came to mind just this morning. So often I feel like that is what we are.
