The window looks at what is material and beyond.
This is not some new belief system. Scientific and theistic evidence tell about a paradigm forming before us. This is happening right now—as a confirmation of old information by new insight.
Convergence simply provides a focal point where we see this paradigm ... coming together.
The old information says there is a God ... of Israel ... and that Israel is a specific people who today are identified as being Jewish. There are frictions today to belief in God or accepting what is Jewish ... but look, we also see that this comes with a material mindset and a rejection of the theistic side to existence. The paradigm works past such friction to give a big picture view.
God, in text, tells us we are the product of creation and not here by some chance process—much like what evolution theory would suggest. The text says the universe came from the immaterial into being as a material place. Well, is there any parallel explanation that fits this biblical perspective?
Today, biological information in DNA, its complexity, and high order processing is evidence for an intelligence based code that supports our being. The specificity of the code has every attribute of design and exceeds anything humans have ever designed—way beyond modern computers and computer code.
Cosmologists in the early Twentieth Century discovered the beginning of the universe and labeled it the big bang. The universe appeared from nothing.
We are faced, in the Twenty-First Century with a convergence of scientific and theistic explanations. This would be the obvious truth for an existence where both views look to one common reality. That in fact is what the paradigm now recognizes.
The Window Paradigm starts with "we are here because an intelligent agent, God, put everything together" in such a way that we can figure out that He did it! That realization from science and theism blows the doors off the assumption we are mere material life forms.
Material naturalists would say we are just here for a time and then gone. The paradigm counters this notion because the evidence indicates design, which by default relates to purpose, and this is a marvelous cornerstone to human existence—this perspective 'changes everything' about how we must look at life.
To accentuate the need for an awareness that goes beyond material life, we are today faced with global changes that challenge a continued normalcy to life on Earth. Living here is changing. Change threatens the material underpinnings of our existence to the point of posing an ecological collapse. The wondrous network of living systems may not hold. The thought of environmental catastrophe looms in the minds of people today. This begs the question of the value to life.
The combination of scientific evidence for design (in the universe, in the minute details in a cell) and the theistic awareness of God's presence, now, together, simply jolt us. Humanity has been sleeping on assumptions for far too long. While change is a wake up to a material world, this 'other awareness' says something beyond our material experience.
The dialog about change, troubled economies, over nationalism, self interests, over religious ideologies and related extremist elements is heating up ... and mean while the timeline of human events reveals a trend.
Change begs us to look at ourselves. Evidence for design reveals there must be a purpose for our being placed here, and theism extends the timeline to a series of events that will come to pass.
What is surprising is the Bible contains a chronology we can follow. Some events projected to the future horizon of time have a specific order. Other events described are not specified within the stated sequence. So, we have a little of both, ordered events and some others that will come but at a time that is left open. And certain chronological events align with Israel becoming a nation, with Jewish control of the mountains in the Land, with a return of Jewish peoples from around the globe. The chronology is alive and interwoven with the timeline.
Material scientists say we evolved and by chance. Scientists who understand the concept of design marvel at how the circumstances and evidence tell another fascinating story.
Theism tells us we are in a life struggle in the flesh. Working our way to God's purposes for us places us in a tension between failings of the flesh (sin) and a narrow pathway leading to a future with Him.
Near the end of the current era, just about where we are now, the events associated with Israel and a seven year peace pact (a covenant) will appear on the timeline. This is part of the chronology. It fits with the continued friction we see in the Middle East. It will look logical, but this come with biblical timing.
We think it possible that all convergent forces, that includes human attempts to master global change, creating material solutions to earthly problems, as well as offering a handle on peace in the Middle East, all runs into the closure of the end of the current era. Why? Because resistance to God means opposition to seeing God's purposes. This scenario works because it goes beyond the material realm. Only human thinking is stuck in the material dimension.
The paradigm is composed of the working awareness that we are here by purpose and evidence for that comes out of a natural revelation from scientific and naturalistic information as well as the complementary information woven into Scripture. Be awakened to this reality and you will see the paradigm come alive. The paradigm uses the material stage and time-based events to arrive at conditions that complete the story of the current era.
The ultimate choice is one of giving up a singular minded material view point. The WindowView is a world view where all peoples must be reconciled to the God ... the Designer ... who put them here. This is all by design. The earth has borne the weight of life to the point of wearing thin and another scenario is about to take us forward to a new era. No one here invented this view ... it's based on existing information! The 'old information' has been in place for some two thousand plus years!
To sit at the window and see all this come together is an advantage, a useful vantage point, but only if you look, think, and discern.
