Time Main Page

What is here and why ...

The idea is to see over time a building progression, a momentum, of events through natural and human history. The WindowView Timeline spans from eternity past to eternity future.

On the timeline charts, human activities are split into two lanes. The left side is progress in material and scientific areas. On the right side, theistically important milestones as well as events in the Middle East all present themselves in time order. The pace of events grows ever faster as we approach the present era.

See how human activity has taken over the planet and that we are headed to an end of a modern era. The environment can only take so much development. Will this era end in an environmental crisis? And as the Bible indicates anticipated biblical events bring us to a close of the present era. Do political, social, and nationalistic influences along with global change spill into the biblical scenario? Time will tell!

The key to this window is seeing another side to a truth we understand from everyday life. This reveals the rest of the view on what life is.

There are tensions in both the human and environmental spheres. Change in the environment and in the political realm ramps up to some kind of a crisis. But if we know what was written previously for time ahead of us, maybe the events we see today are really no surprise. Perhaps the material and biblical scenarios merge into a single story. Would you be alert to see this? And do you really see humans saving a planet? Seriously! Do you?

The end result of following the time line brings us to conclusions that are not so out of line with the pundits' worrisome environmental projections nor with what is recorded in the Bible. That these two sources in some way agree takes a bit of looking—like from the unique perspective of this window's view!

If the Bible is correct, then issues related to global change and climate change may simply play into the larger scheme of tensions that describe an end-of-era scenario. Will one powerful global leader make a one world government in the name of saving us? When he brings a peace covenant to Israel, will that fit the scenario? Until such a person steps forward, we can consider that progress on global change is an ongoing uncoordinated mess. Peace just never seems to come to the world—especially the Middle East. Why is that? The time line brings us ever closer to seeing the change and biblical scenarios come to full view. Are you ready to think about this? Can any of this be real?

SEE the TIMELINE: If nothing else, start with Part One and progress through Part Two, from segment to segment of the timeline, to get a feel for the pace and transition of events over time. The last section is forward looking and as best possible is placed as a continuation from events of today.
