The "window concept" is simple.
Look, objectively as possible, at information for what it tells us. If by this we see another side to life's story, another facet to truth, then we are closer to what is really true about our life, existence, and a purpose to our life experience.
This statement is a simple introduction to the window's intent and content.
The following is a brief overview of points you'll encounter by looking through this window.
Global Change is a serious topic and life on earth now experiences consequences to change. The real message of change is not survival in the physical realm, but a challenge to honestly look at who we are ... in both physical life and the spiritual realm. This is the 'other side of the coin!' An added perspective to consider.
Science information now goes way beyond what Darwin knew. Today, if Darwin were here he would yell at us: "Look at the data!" His theory on evolution would look different if he were here today!
Today the data reveal where Darwin got it wrong. Only assumption and resistance to a better explanation holds fast to the older Darwinian view. The data say life is intricate, full of specificity, filled with examples for our being here by design ... and the old explanation for chance evolution is now fading away. A fresh look jolts us to reality, to look at how the data tell us a different and equally wondrous story ... based on science, based on looking and seeing where the data take us, really, to see what we've missed for so long.
Harmony is a word that is the product of viewing still other information and seeking a clear picture. And yet many of us have not read the source material. Harmony is about people, finding faith based on sound information, a biblical chronology leading to the future, and understanding how all this fits into the world we live in today.
Within the window we see themes merge. So, the Designer of life may well be the God of Israel. Consider all 'holy writings' from all religious systems—other than what is in the Hebrew/Greek biblical text—and we encounter assumptions, inaccuracies, and distractions from the reality that science also describes. Consider this an acid test for information. Discern what is valid! The Bible exhibits no disagreement with scientific terms, listing of species, or related supporting information. It's no science textbook, but there is no scientific fault either.
The real Harmony is found in a relationship between man and God. The intent is for a people, Israel, to extend an invitation to all nations, all Gentiles, to enter into a relationship with God. A harmony of themes intended for Jew and Gentile together is the main starting point. The ultimate end point is a portal to eternity. Information from science and Bible deliver us to an appreciation for this reality. Intricate information and not opinion is vital to our understanding the harmony.
