Messianic Video on
Leadership
(part 2)
Signs of a Messianic Mench (A Good Person!) and leadership qualities. This is one of four message by Scott Brown, out of a longer series, on leadership in relation to congregational life. The emphasis is Messianic and thus applies biblically to call Jewish and Gentile members of the body of Messiah.
Scott Brown now represents Chosen People Ministries. The theme of his presentations are both biblical and Messianic in nature with an application for both the Jewish and Gentile listener. If you are unaware of the Messianic perspective that joins Jew and Gentile together in the larger biblical plan for all of us ... then listen with an open mind, heart, and allow for a bit of wisdom and humor, too.

Leadership
The 17 Signs of a Messianic Mench
Believers are a Bride being prepared for the BrideGroom. Did you know that? We await a bridegroom as in WIFE ...
WIFE: Worship, Instruction, Fellowship, Evangelism
Listen to Scott as he describes how we grow in these areas ... through leadership. This series is about the qualifications of leadership. Let's review the first of these qualifications in this series on 17 qualities of a leader:
1) Desires to lead ... willing to be stretched by the Lord.
2) Above Reproach - where the enemy can't hold you.
3) A one woman man
4) Temperate - Vigilant
5) Prudent - Sober - safe emotionally
6) Respectable - a well ordered person on the outside and well behaved
7) Hospitable - a necessity for gaining a good reputation
8) Abe to Teach - that is, what hi is not what he does.
9) "Not Given to Wine"
This message you are watching is about this ninth qualification. The message is not about abstaining from wine, but really to avoid wine when a clear mind is necessary ... and not to linger with wine ... this is described in full in the video. You may be surprised!
The 10th qualification is covered here, too.
10) Not Pugnacious ... that is, not a 'striker.' This is a person who does not whale on other people, no hitting!
All this is about being moderate, not only what goes into our mouths but out of our mouths ... self reliant but not self sufficient; energetic and not self seeking and this is part of a long list of extremes that we can learn from ... watch as Scott recites the entire list!
Why examine all this about leadership? Well, the world is perishing all around us and we need leaders to move us out of this world ... How then shall we live? ... watch ...
