Messianic Video on
Leadership
(part 1)
Signs of a Messianic Mench (A Good Person!) and leadership qualities. This is one of four message by Scott Brown, out of a longer series, on leadership in relation to congregational life. The emphasis is Messianic and thus applies biblically to call Jewish and Gentile members of the body of Messiah.
Scott Brown now represents Chosen People Ministries. The theme of his presentations are both biblical and Messianic in nature with an application for both the Jewish and Gentile listener. If you are unaware of the Messianic perspective that joins Jew and Gentile together in the larger biblical plan for all of us ... then listen with an open mind, heart, and allow for a bit of wisdom and humor, too.

Leadership
The 17 Signs of a Messianic Mench
We offer four episodes of a multiparty video series on leadership. Here is the first of the four. This is Scripture based and while biblical in its approach, the messages apply beyond a congregational family ... they apply to us all! We need leadership around us to be filled by those who are qualified. A Messianic Mench (a good person) will not be one to disgrace God's name. God's authority and leadership calls on those of us who meet the scriptural test.
The message on this page starts with the fourth qualification: Temperate - Vigilant; that is, clear thinking, properly oriented, a person who is circumspect. Listen as these terms are defined and illustrated, even with a bit of humor!
The fifth qualification for a leader is: Prudent - Sober, and this is defined by a scriptural word taken from the Greek. These qualities save us from being entangled in the evil that is found around us, this keeps us on track and with a clear focus.
Are we in control? Are we in want of worldly things, in excess of the security of the wisdom that holds us safe in God's presence? Watch and see how this applies you you!
Do you desire to be a leader? Do you have the qualities and qualifications? Examine yourself. Ask God to search you and reveal if you are 'saf-rone.' This would be a person of sound mind. Are you? A person of moderation. Are you? Do you make balanced decisions? Are you a catalyst for what is right and good?
The solution going forward comes out of Scripture ... in that we can "put off the old man." Be renewed in both spirit and mind! So, what does God give to provide renewal? How do we receive a new life!?!
Scott describes how it pleased God to provide life to us through the death of another. So, how did He do that? Watch the explanation ... can you see it? Can you clearly think this through? Are you leading yourself to safety?
This message concludes with a word of gaining a new heart, gaining control in this life ... watch and open the window!
