Thesis: The Harmony

A WindowView thesis is a proposition stated for consideration and is intended to be discussed and maintained against objections by a sound defense.

This web site supports the thesis that a "Messianic Judaism" is the only real monotheism that exists in the world today. This theism concerns everyone and has everything to do with humanity's future.

This view is not opinion but is based on historical and biblical information. See what the information says, because this provides details about our future—details found no where else on Earth.

The harmony's driving force is the long standing evidence. If you have read and studied the Bible, you perhaps understand. If you have not, you risk ignorance. Read and be informed.

Judaism and Christianity can only be linked if both faith systems rely on one and the same God and if both recognize the one Messiah as is presently identified by Scripture. When we say Scripture, we first and foremost mean Hebrew Scripture as found in the Tanach—the Jewish Bible.

For the Jewish visitor to WindowView, we say look at the evidence for Messiah's identity in the Scriptures you have ... every synagogue has such Scripture, the evidence is right there. To find Messiah is to find what is already Jewish and yours!

To the Gentile visitor, there is a powerful witness to identifying Messiah in the Hebrew first, as well as looking to the Greek Scriptures written shortly after Messiah's presence on earth. Consider this, even the Greek texts were penned by Jews.

Today, television specials and popular writings dance around this obvious point. No one wants to offend, so we see a political correctness that continues a separation myth. Why not just declare what is reality? But that is the point, historically the obvious has been put off, avoided, and compromised. And yet Jewish and Christian customs for all holy days, yes even Jewish holy days, link to Messiah! Articles in the window Harmony area address this point.

Messianic Judaism refers to Messiah by a Hebrew name: Yeshua. Gentiles in many other congregations call the Messiah Jesus. No matter what name, the one identity is to a single person, a single story, a single God of Israel, and to a single future ahead.

Messiah offers a promise concerning our potential of being placed in that future—we have to consider and decide to accept or decline. One decision here based on faith opens life's door to the eternal.

The Harmony is illustrated in several ways. One, many Jews today do not realize that a key goal for the creation of the House of Israel is to be a light to the Gentiles.

Isaiah 49:6 Indeed He says, ‘It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob, And to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You as a light to the Gentile, That You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.’”

Israel's peoples are meant to bring Gentiles to their God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Historically this has not really happened in a big way. History is still being written and the biblical timeline is unfolding. Israel's role and associated events is yet to fully open before the world.

The main focal point for Jews and Gentiles in the Harmony is one God and His intention for ALL of us. That God has revealed Himself through Messiah, who came once already and will appear again ... as it is so stated in the biblical text—another next step, a part of the timeline. This is not merely a 'churchy interpretation,' all this stems from the very first book of the Bible. Genesis 3:15 provides the first mention of Messiah. Are you surprised that He is referenced so early in the biblical text?

Many Jews [and even Gentiles] today neither read the Bible nor understand the true role for the House of Israel. But Messianic Jews, today, understand in a big way—they are awakened by a longstanding reality. Their awareness today is a statement of historical importance ... it's a precondition to Messiah's return. The mystery and a truth are now unmasked, revealed at a particular time for a particular purpose. The biblical timeline is moving forward and we are in the final part of an era soon to close.

We understand that many Gentiles do not realize that a Jewish person who accepts Yeshua as the Jewish Messiah is regarded as an outcast from their Jewish community. The rejection of Messiah, specifically Yeshua (Jesus), comes from a long history of rather unfortunate or tragic events [some of these are noted on the WindowView Time Line]. But again, the identity of Messiah has nothing to do with tragic events that have befallen the Jewish people over the long course of history ... the identity has everything to do with reading the evidence laid out in Scripture for centuries before He came. For this reason we have a "Messiah's Time Line" page that outlines the Scriptures identifying Messiah and events associated with Him.

Also note, that from Genesis, to the Book of Daniel, in the Psalms and Proverbs, Isaiah, as well as Zechariah and other texts, Jews read and knew ahead of time when the Messiah would come.

When He arrived, there were many waiting for Him ... the fore knowledge of his arrival was not a mystery. So, there is enough information in the biblical text to see when He will come again. Putting this together with the other stresses and driving forces in the world today, it becomes clear that the Bible's chronology and recent and present history is coming together.

And marks of His visit here are referenced for a time yet to come ...

Zech 12:10 “And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.

We cannot set dates or predict exact events, but the idea is seeing how Jew and Gentile together can see we mutually face an event horizon that is coming. It's not just a Jewish story, but the primary focus is on Israel. The enemies of Israel know this as well and they are moving in an attempt to diminish or destroy Israel ... sit at the window, look, ask why one small country is such a big deal and then consider the chronology of biblical events.

The WindowView Thesis on Harmony says that all events in science, global change, and in the Bible's prophetic sequence are slowly blending into the main stream of events you call life. Really think about this and perhaps in a moment of vivid realization, a revelation of this other side of reality will hit you, the light will come on, you'll see it.

Life is not by chance and your story is tied to a biblical time line. You are part of the intended harmony. Do you live as if this is reality? Have you really thought about this? Have you read about this in Scripture?
