Thesis on Convergence

A WindowView thesis is a proposition stated for consideration and is intended to be discussed and maintained against objections by a sound defense.

The thesis here is simple, driving forces move us to a central point where we are no longer able to escape the conditions within which we live. This is global, historical, scientific, biblical, and change based. But there exists information upon which we can base a choice.

Either we live a one time material event or the material experience is a mere stage upon which to see both a material and spiritual side to life. If both sides are relevant, then we need to look closely.

The window is here to illustrate what convergence is delivering to our attention ... should we choose to consider the options life offers us!

Driving forces at work in the world today are immense. Perhaps so huge that human history has an unstoppable momentum. Where does that lead us?

From a sole material viewpoint, the decline of life on Earth and the ultimate burn out of our Sun tells us the future is limited. Science simply reveals this by physics and chemical principles.

But the window also pays heed to other perspectives that leads us to a set of conditions that fit a biblical scenario. Present events, conditions, stories in the news and human history do not preclude the biblical timeline's next steps. In fact, driving forces on multiple levels put us in a ripe place, in space and time, for just a scenario to be played out.

Convergence puts scientific and theistic perspectives in place and thus humanity at a critical crossroads. It looks like we are headed to a crisis in the environment, by way of tensions between nations, through the draw down of non-renewable resources, by limited fresh water, and by the fact humans really do not cooperate on a global scale ... we are essentially unable to confront the planet-wide mutual problems. Doesn't that portend crisis?

The other option in place of crisis is choice. And since humans are unable to make a global-corporate choice, the choice has to be a personal one. This is where a theistic perspective enters the window's view. You, by the fact that you are alive, present right now, have the option to choose your future ... in spite of and because of all the conflict and friction in the rest of the world.

Isn't it amazing that Earth is apparently the ONLY planet that we know of that hosts life! But what if aliens live three quarters the way across the universe, what good is that to what we see here? The real human material and spiritual dilemma is being played out here! Will we, can we, save ourselves? If not us, who saves? And that is just convergence at its best ... because this points to a hope and how solutions come in spite of our inability to address conditions at the crossroads.

We have taken a look at scientific evidence. The surprising thing is, science can reveal in nature evidence for our true life origin. That this evidence points to an origin outside of material reasons alone ... is incredible ... a natural revelation for an intelligence making life and us. That material minded people reject this view is to be expected, it's mere friction and rejection of the evidence. The logic that we are here by purpose opens up the window to something more than a material scenario of our ultimate demise in a futuristic cold burnt out universe.

But we live a material dilemma as illustrated by global change and how humans lack a coordinated response to change. The window also opens to unique look at faith topics that combine peoples in a common sphere of faith.

Global change and events along time accelerate the questions on life's purpose and the true value to our existence. If natural revelation points to our being here not by chance, but by purpose, then this must be factored in to how we respond to ominous global changes in the physical environment and how human events lead to a future that goes beyond the material experience we live in the present moment.

The window looks to both scientific and biblical information that is complex, intricate, and focused. On one hand the human dilemma puts us at a material crossroads with material choices. Beyond this, on the other hand, is a spiritual crossroads that puts before us a window to the eternal ... and there we face a logic that describes why we here in the first place.

Science, faith, information, a look at unique perspectives ... all bring the window together ... but only for those willing to look, think, reason, and consider how this all affects each one of us personally.

The Thesis on Convergence is the big picture where all driving forces point to a choice based on science and faith, scientific and theistic information in the larger window framework, where you ultimately make a personal decision based on all that you see. Look, think, and discern!

Window View - This Is A Place for Building a new paradigm based on Science and Scripture

Look through the window's several key perspectives to see what the new paradigm is ... and consider this as it applies to you!

What gathers at the crossroads are incredible clues ... but if we are simply wrapped up in our won lives, we miss the big picture.

This planet, very soon through change, will not be the same place we have been use to ... further, science supports evidence for our being here by design, thus purpose ... and a well documented chronology describes discrete events to come, and within the window's larger view God offers a promise ... might we consider it? In the din and confusion at the crossroads, this is a focal point of a choice relieves us of crisis!

Convergence comes with driving forces that force us to look and see the direction humanity is taking. It's all made worse, because time is running out; not because the climate is changing on earth, but the climate is drastically changed in the sphere of human events.

The Window View is not a static picture. The window's timeline presents the concept that humans move faster and further, but never really advance. But then it was always known to be this way ...

Eccl 1:3 What profit has a man from all his labor In which he toils under the sun? 4 One generation passes away, and another generation comes; But the earth abides forever. 5 The sun also rises, and the sun goes down, And hastens to the place where it arose.

And the knowledge we would gain in time was anticipated as well:

Da 12:4 “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

Today we are running to and fro ... but getting no where. If global change issues require immediate attention as so many say ... we are losing ground fast and opportunities are now beyond being lost ... they have slipped away during the debate and procrastination. But the window looks at the forces for change and provides each one of us an opportunity to respond ... choice in place of crisis!
